Heitman’s Offices lead the market!

July 2nd, 2013

BBC 5, 4 and 3 and Aupark Tower, some of the office assets owned by the global real estate fund Heitman in the first half of 2013 have signed more than 12,000 square meters of lease contracts. This represents one of the largest market shares in this time period. From contracts with new tenants, over 2,200 square meters was closed and over 10,000 square meters of these deals were lease extensions with existing tenants. All of these tenants are significant strong companies but the most achievements in these deals is Heitman has signed a long term agreement with one of the largest tenants in Aupark Tower and one of the key tenants in BBC are adding a further 50% of office space too now having now nearly 5,000 square metres of office space in the building.

"We are pleased with the leasing results in the first half in BBC 5. Heitman and its assets continue to attract companies from the IT, Pharma, R&D and consulting sectors, for which these buildings deliver an excellent business environment, but notable they allow tenants to grow and create new business which is shown with the tenants’ expansion in BBC5,” said Lucia Tranová, Leasing Manager for BBC Office.

"Heitman owns fantastic assets in Slovakia. These assets have some of the strongest performing operators on the Bratislava market today. The tenant in Aupark Tower is one of the best known global companies and having them commit to the building long term is a great success for Heitman and its investors. Heitman has developed a strong relationship with the tenants in BBC5 over many years. Their growth in this project again underpins the true position of BBC5 in Bratislava," added Guy Speir, leasing lead for Heitman in Slovakia.

There is still quality office available space in BBC5, 4 and 3 and Heitman is keen to use these foundation in the first half of 2013 to drive through further letting results in 2013.
